The support of immune development in animals is significant for the maintenance of animal health and production, which is of vital importance to the food industry. A balanced diet, a hygienic environment, health management strategies such as biosecurity and vaccination, and natural feed additives such as essential oils (EOs) can all contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust immune system in animals. Some EOs have antimicrobial activity, support respiratory and mucosal health and have an immunomodulatory effect that can help animals resist infection and disease and improve their overall health and well-being.

The effect of Turbo Tox^® on growth rate and feed conversion ratio in comparison with antibiotic was investigated on broiler. The experimental treatments are shown in Table 1.

Result is investigating the positive effect of Turbo Tox on final weight (Figure 1) and feed conversion ratio (Figure 2)

It is concluded that using Turbo Tox® as Non-Antibiotic growth promoter improved (P < 0.05) growth rate with the highest rate for treatment with 1.5 kg per ton of feed. 1.5 kg per ton of feed has lower FCR as well.

Effects of 42 Degree in farrowing sows

In this small-scale farm trial, all sows received the same nutritional program and were kept under the same housing conditions. The number of all sows included in the trial was ten.

42 Degree Group: N=5 sows
Tolfenamic Acid Group: N=5 sows

As an in-field result, the farmers experience generally that sows which are receiving 42 Degree show a good appetite, have improved motility through pain reduction and they are easier to handle after birth as they obviously feel more comfortable.

Effects of Aromax Dry in Calves

It was hypothesized that applying Aromax Dry via milk replacer and creep feeding to young calves can support the digestive and respiratory health of the animals and can reduce the incidence of diarrhea, cough and dyspnea.

According to the comparison between the data and the actual situation of the calf field, we experienced that with the application of Aromax Dry, the overall morbidity decreased relative significantly.

Effect of Renal Cleaner in Broilers

The trial was started in two different houses with the same nutritional plan and other relevant factors. The number of birds in each house was 10.000 and houses were placed next to each other.

At the end of second cycle, there was difference between two groups with 300 gr more feed consumption and 172 gr more body weight for Renal Cleaner group.
