The support of immune development in animals is significant for the maintenance of animal health and production, which is of vital importance to the food industry. A balanced diet, a hygienic environment, health management strategies such as biosecurity and vaccination, and natural feed additives such as essential oils (EOs) can all contribute to the development and maintenance of a robust immune system in animals. Some EOs have antimicrobial activity, support respiratory and mucosal health and have an immunomodulatory effect that can help animals resist infection and disease and improve their overall health and well-being.
Farmers have been looking for ways to minimize their use of antibiotics, but at the same time maximize their profit. For this reason, non-antibiotic growth promoters have become very popular in recent years. One such product is our Novosol®.Read more “Novosol Trial in Lithuania”
The trial was conducted to evaluate the results obtained by using Aromax Dry in piglets during the nursing phase. The intention of this study was to observe the effects of Aromax Dry application in certain important productive parameters of swine production, such es mortality and FCR.Read more “Effects of Aromax Dry in piglets”
Type of trial: Customer Own Trial
Location of trial: Commercial Layer Farm in Southern Philippines
Trial period: April and May 2019 in total 5 weeks
Trial design: 23934 birds laying hens with different age groups
Trial aim: To investigate the effect of Ovostrong, XVET Germany on laying performances
The effect of Turbo Tox® on growth rate and feed conversion ratio in comparison with antibiotic was investigated on broiler. The experimental treatments are shown in Table 1.
Result is investigating the positive effect of Turbo Tox on final weight (Figure 1) and feed conversion ratio (Figure 2)
It is concluded that using Turbo Tox® as Non-Antibiotic growth promoter improved (P < 0.05) growth rate with the highest rate for treatment with 1.5 kg per ton of feed. 1.5 kg per ton of feed has lower FCR as well.

Main benefits of adding Turbo Tox®:
- “NON-ANTIBIOTIC” GROWTH PROMOTER
- IMPROVES WEIGHT GAIN, EGG AND MEAT YIELD
- TRIGGERS INTESTINAL NON-SPECIFIC IMMUNE MODULATION
- FEED PRESERVATIVE AGAINST MOULDS, BACTERIA, VECTORS AND MYCOTOXINS
- BETTER LITTER QUALITY
- IMPROVED FEED PERFORMANCE
In this small-scale farm trial, all sows received the same nutritional program and were kept under the same housing conditions. The number of all sows included in the trial was ten.
- 42 Degree Group: N=5 sows
- Tolfenamic Acid Group: N=5 sows
As an in-field result, the farmers experience generally that sows which are receiving 42 Degree show a good appetite, have improved motility through pain reduction and they are easier to handle after birth as they obviously feel more comfortable.Read more “Effects of 42 Degree in farrowing sows”
It was hypothesized that applying Aromax Dry via milk replacer and creep feeding to young calves can support the digestive and respiratory health of the animals and can reduce the incidence of diarrhea, cough and dyspnea.
According to the comparison between the data and the actual situation of the calf field, we experienced that with the application of Aromax Dry, the overall morbidity decreased relative significantly.Read more “Effects of Aromax Dry in Calves”
Type of trial: Field trial
Location of trial: Philippines
Trial period: six weeks in autumn 2020 (from 26th week of life onwards)
Experimented animals: Layers (Lohmann breed)
Aim of the Trial: Assess the effect of XVET`s Metavolin Herbal® on Pre-Peak and Peak Performance of laying hens
It has been demonstrated that supporting the liver during stressful periods can lead to improvement of layer performance. It was hypothesized, that Metavolin Herbal® enhances the chicken`s metabolism by supporting the hepatic system, thus leading to an increased performance and better health of the birds, which might be useful especially around peak of laying when hepatic stress factors are at its highest.
This study was performed at the University of Baghdad in Iraq to evaluate the effect of XVET Germany’s Aromax on the antibody titer formation when applied along the vaccination of infectious bronchitis virus (IBv). Various administration routes from Aromax as well as the vaccination were tested to establish the best combination solution.Read more “Effect on immune status after infectious bronchitis (IBv) vaccination when Aromax (XVET) is applied on broiler chicken”
The trial was started in two different houses with the same nutritional plan and other relevant factors. The number of birds in each house was 10.000 and houses were placed next to each other.
At the end of second cycle, there was difference between two groups with 300 gr more feed consumption and 172 gr more body weight for Renal Cleaner group.Read more “Effect of Renal Cleaner in Broilers”
